Origin-The rose is according to fossil evidence 35 million years old. Garden cultivation of roses began some 5 000 years ago probably in China.
The worlds most expensive rose is a 2006 variety by famed rose breeder David Austin that was christened Juliet. Breeding the rose took a total 15 years and cost 5 million dollars.

Cut the stems at 45 degrees, about 1-2 inches from the bottom.
