Description

Product Details:

  • The rubber tree (Ficus Elastica Robusta) is an extremely low-maintenance and undemanding houseplant that prefers a light to partial shade location. The height is approx. 70-120cm. The leaves are green. This plant belongs to the group of indoor air improvers. Accordingly, the rubber tree filters numerous pollutants from the air. The delivery height is approx. 30-50cm.
  • Important: The plant is supplied in a culture pot. The illustrated planter is not included in the delivery.

Ficus Elastica Robusta Plant Trivia:

  • Ficus elastica, the rubber fig, rubber bush, rubber tree, rubber plant, or Indian rubber bush, Indian rubber tree, is a species of flowering plant in the family Moraceae, native to eastern parts of South Asia and southeast Asia.
  • It has become naturalized in Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and the US State of Florida.

  • Natural light is best, but some plants can also thrive in office fluorescent light.
  • Plant soil should be kept moist at all time.
  • Be careful to avoid overwatering.
  • Do not allow plants to stand in water.
  • Avoid wetting plant leaves excessively.
  • A spray of water should help in case of flowering plants.
  • Plants should be kept in a cool spot (between 18-28°C).
  • Remove waste leaves and stems from time to time.
