• Gerbera L. is a genus of plants in the Asteraceae.
• It was named in honour of German botanist and medical doctor Traugott Gerber who travelled extensively in Russia and was a friend of Carl Linnaeus.

• When your flowers arrive, just trim the stems and add water. Re-cut 1-2” of the stems at a 45 degree angle.
