Ingredients

  • Castor Sugar- 96 g or ¾ cup
  • All-Purpose Flour- 96 g or ¾ cup
  • Vegetable Oil- 5 Tablespoons
  • Homemade Yoghurt- 64 gms or ½ cup
  • Baking Powder- ½ tsp
  • Baking Soda- ¼ tsp
  • Milk- 4 tablespoons
  • Cocoa Powder- 7 Tablespoons

For Frosting

  • Butter- ½ cup, softened
  • Cocoa Powder- ¼ cup
  • Icing Sugar- 1 cup
  • Vanilla- 1 tsp
  • Chocolate- ½ cup, Melted
  • Cream- ½ cup, warm

Instructions

  • Take out your silicone cupcake moulds and line them with cupcake liners.
  • Now, take a bowl, add oil and sugar and mix it well with a whisk.
  • Add yoghurt and mix well.
  • Take a sieve and keep it in the bowl and add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Now, fold the dry ingredients with wet ones and mix well. Add the milk and mix everything carefully.
  • Fill your silicone moulds halfway.
  • Microwave the cupcakes for 40 seconds on the regular heating mode. Take the cupcakes out from the microwave and get ready to decorate them.
  • For the frosting, mix butter and sugar well with a blender. Add melted chocolate, vanilla extract, cocoa powder and cream. While you are adding these ingredients keep blending in between. Your frosting is ready and now, you can add it to a frosting cone. You can even skip the cocoa powder and chocolate for preparing vanilla frosting.
  • You can take fresh strawberries, sprinklers or gems and decorate your frosted cupcakes.
