From the very first good news of pregnancy, a mom-to-be starts preparing herself for the big day. Behind joy and excitement she hides a fear, a fear of labor. Yes, to all of us labor seems just a step further, a mere process of giving birth. But, only a mother knows how it actually feels, an experience which can only be told.<\/p>\n

Like all girls, I was also very curious about labor pains. I mean all those scenes in daily soaps and movies can excite anyone, right? Many a times, I’ve overheard older ladies at my home discussing about this topic, just like we discuss about some breaking news. They say it’s a very sweet pain and at that time mothers are more concerned about their babies rather than pain, etc. etc. And, I wondered is it really that simple?<\/p>\n

Generally no-one talks about the darker side of the situation, the PAIN. No matter how beautifully poets and writers put it, the pain is actually “Dreadful”. Thanks to my sister, who is a new mother and the only person who doesn’t lie about labor pains, at least not to me.<\/p>\n

When I asked her “how was it?”, she just replied “I don’t think I am going to plan another one”. Even after months, the mere flash black gives her goose bumps and that’s how it is. Now, I think that our childhood stories of an angel dropping a baby on mum’s bed was much better than the reality, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

Hope every one of you got to know how difficult it must have been for your mom as well. And, it was just the beginning. Well, don’t you think mothers deserve more than just our love? They need us, our attention, our care, and most importantly our time.<\/p>\n

We start spending lesser time with our moms as we grow older, no matter the reason. And, the beautiful part of their being “mummy” is that they never expect. The same way they would not be expecting a gift from us, because they hardly care about such occasions. But, we do. Right?. Now we must be eager to send best gifts for mother’s day online<\/a> even if your mom is in India or abroad.<\/p>\n
