While everyone enjoys Deepawali, our pets do not like this festival! The noise of the crackers, the air pollution bothers them and they find places to hide. Pets are an integral part of our lives. Whether it is a joyous moment or a sad one, they have always been there with us. In order to help you make Deepwali safe for them, we have identified few ways which are going to be useful. Pet-friendly Indoor Plants<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Indoor plants purify the air.<\/a> You must bring home air-purifying plants that are also safe for pets. Spider Plants, Areca Palms, and Boston Ferns are some of the plants that have both qualities.<\/p>\n

Make Rangoli Flowers or Organic Colors<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Don’t use rangoli colours that are made with chemicals. Try using petals or organic colours for rangoli as your adorable cat or dog may end up licking it.<\/p>\n

While you are busy adorning your home with fairy lights, double-check the wires and make sure nothing will harm your pets. Keep your cats and dogs away from the wires.<\/p>\n

If their usual place is nearby a window or the balcony door, shift them a little indoors. This way they can be kept away from the noise as much as possible.<\/p>\n

Always keep the doors closed. By keeping the doors closed you can prevent the smoke from coming inside and your dog from going outside.<\/p>\n

Sweets are not good for your pets. Though Diwali has no rules, and you can make them happy by feeding them a piece or two, don’t overdo it.<\/p>\n
