Burning the Ravana idols leads to air pollution. The toxic chemicals used for preparing idols get submerged with water. Additionally, burning produces harmful gases and poses a threat to humans as well as aquatic life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Make the Dussehra celebration happier by taking good care of your surroundings. Here is a list of ideas to celebrate eco-friendly Dussehra this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Use Eco-Friendly Idols<\/b><\/h4>\n

Avoid idols made of plaster of Paris or plastic. They pollute the water and do not dissolve easily. Use eco-friendly clay idols for puja<\/a> and take a step towards responsible Dussehra celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid Firecrackers<\/b><\/h4>\n

Burning firecrackers cause environmental pollution. When the effigies of Ravana are burnt, they release harmful smoke that pollutes the air. Avoid using firecrackers to keep our environment safe. This will also help in reducing noise pollution.<\/span><\/p>\n
