It is usually said that friends don\u2019t let you do stupid things alone, but in reality, they do. Sometimes they will try countless tactics to cancel that plan or get their way out of it, just because they find it silly or stupid or out of their league. We all have this one friend (or maybe we are that friend) who has hundreds of reasons and excuses handy to get him or her out of a plan. How? Let\u2019s find out \u2013<\/p>\n

Distract them with a new plan<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"get<\/p>\n

Trust me, it always works. Don\u2019t want to watch that stupid romantic movie with your gang? Just tell them about this other amazing movie launching next week or suggest they save for that 50% sale at their favourite store. Well, they have to change their mind for their (secretly your) good!<\/p>\n

Stuck at work<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Stuck<\/p>\n

If pitching a new idea didn\u2019t do any good, you can always blame it on your \u201chectic\u201d schedule for not going out with your friends. It\u2019s okay to lie sometimes, especially, if you do not want to get embarrassed by your gang at the club.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Convince them with \u201cwe\u2019ll do this next time\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Convince<\/p>\n

It’s fine if you don\u2019t want to go to the amusement park with the scariest rides, but you cannot always break your friend\u2019s heart. This is where the golden \u201cdon\u2019t be upset, we\u2019ll do this next time\u201d enters. And honestly, you can keep your promise, well, at least sometimes.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t explain, I\u2019ll call next week<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

Okay, so you tried everything to convince your friends to change their plans, but they didn\u2019t. So, now you are left with only one option – ditching the plan at the last moment. Here\u2019s the simplest excuse – \u201cI can\u2019t explain, I\u2019ll call next week.\u201d The lack of information makes it effective, and who will remember to ask you next week, right?<\/p>\n

You guys go, I\u2019ll just catch up in a while<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Yes, we hear this often. When one of your buddies will send a text saying he or she might get late and we must continue. Oh, aren\u2019t they so considerate? Well, yes, they consider their feelings. Most of the time, this actually means \u201cyou guys can enjoy, I am not interested.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just go with them<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Sometimes, it is important to put their interests before ours (only sometimes). So, if your friend is excited to do something, no matter how silly, join in with them and support them in their stupid ideas.<\/p>\n
