We have all been there! The times when we want to say no to a plan or when the group cancels our plans. If you still believe that the last-minute falling in the shower while listening to a Lucky Ali song was real, well, it wasn\u2019t. Listening to Lucky Ali\u2013real, falling\u2013absolutely not.<\/p>\n

But then, one cannot just say, \u201cI prefer Netflix more than you,\u201d \u201cthis book is better than your company,\u201d or \u201cI meant it when I agreed for the plan, but I am a lazy person.\u201d And this is when you need to take a page out of your book of excuses.<\/p>\n

\"1\"<\/p>\n

My mom said no<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"My<\/p>\n

Okay, we all must agree on this! It is a golden excuse that will work every time, especially when your friends are planning a night out. To make it more effective, just say \u201cI had an argument with my mom, and she is mad at me.\u201d You have to be really bad at lying to go wrong with this one.<\/p>\n

I have work tonight<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

Well, we all have that one friend that uses this excuse a lot. It\u2019s almost as if the entire company runs on his or her shoulders. To make it believable, all you need to do is act as if your boss has suddenly asked you to work late. But who can say, if the work is related to the latest Netflix series?<\/p>\n

I have to wake up early tomorrow<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

Just telling your friends how you forget about a very important meeting, morning lecture, or presentation is the best way to let your lazy self have a lazy Sunday of lazy naps.<\/p>\n

I have a terrible headache; I will go to bed early<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

Works extremely well when your friends know that you have an unpredictable work schedule or class routine. Don\u2019t forget to post that headache story on Instagram, though.<\/p>\n

Ohh, I totally forgot we had plans<\/strong>…<\/h4>\n

\"Ohh,<\/p>\n

And now I have promised my mom to help her in the kitchen, or do laundry, or watch her favourite daily soap. Have you ever really done laundry at home? Who cares as long as they buy it!<\/p>\n

I have bad cramps<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"I<\/p>\n

Okay, this is the most valid excuse for ladies, that no one, I repeat, no one will ever argue about (it is actually awful though when it happens for real). Instead, you will be bombarded with amazing ideas about how to treat these cramps. Eat a banana, use a hot pack, eat chocolates, and maybe even have one delivered at your doorstep.<\/p>\n

My friend is going through a rough time<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"My<\/p>\n

An imaginary person who your friends don\u2019t know can save you from going to that boring gathering. How can you attend a party when your friend is crying on your shoulder?<\/p>\n

It is extremely important to have a collection of good excuses handy. Which is the one that always gets you out? (Not out of the house, out of the plan).<\/p>\n
