  Pretty flowers in a vase

People have long treasured beautiful flowers and arranged them in vases. However, they know little about these containers designed for ornamental purposes.

Since the start of the 18th century there were a variety of vases available of porphyry, marble, stone, and bronze. In fact, there were instances when the flower vases came out so beautifully that they were set aside only for decorative use.  The cone shape design was especially popular.

The Chinese and Japanese  were known to be particularly talented in the art of making flower vases. This includes creating paintings, carvings, and embroidered items on vases with depictions of flowers.

Valentines FlowersIn the modern times , there is much more creativity in the air and you can resort to using a watering can as a flower vase, build a lynching flower vases or use a conventional container after beautifying it to add aesthetic appeal. Or, use paper mesh to customize a vase for any room in your home. The finished vase is exceptionally stylish.

There are vases that add rural charm which looks perfect for an informal setting and then there are vases that are sophisticated enough to brighten up a huge formal gathering. For such events, selecting a gem vase is a way better choice than those which show assorted color styles. These are also much more expensive.

Flower vases should be washed out immediately after use. They should be thoroughly cleaned before being put away in storage space, and should be occasionally rubbed with leather. Use watertight vases in case you wish to put your flowers in water, which is recommended by most florists again. Replenish the water daily because species of bacteria germinate inside dirty water and make it further contaminated.

It is sometimes said that there is nothing more charming than a “pretty flower in a vase”. The elegance of your vase will compliment any flower arrangement without being overbearing. No flower in your vase is symbolic of sorrow and is metaphoric equivalent of a gloomy future.

Your vase is your floral preservative, so select it carefully.
