In earlier times ,wedding flower arrangements were made secretly by the bridal parties themselves. Today, when wedding flowers tap into the desire of every bride to make her wedding day , there is the need for elaborate flower arrangements which can be made only by professional florists .
Now, you are through with all the arrangements . Wait. What if someone inside your guest list is allergic to pollen? The one thing you don’t want with wedding flowers is pollen!  With wedding flowers very little pollen is good, and no pollen at all is by far the best. Some people in your wedding might be asthmatic or having allergic rhinitis
Avoid using most of the daisy -related type flowers like daisies , gerbera , chrysanthemums , asters, dahlias , and sunflowers unless you know they're pollen-free ones.
There are certain flowers that are pollen-less which means that they do not possess any male organ but have female fertile organs. For example, certain species of sunflowers have been developed through hybridization and have no pollen.
In some orchids , through genetic modification, anthers are pollen-less and functionless and do not think it worthwhile to produce a filament. The pollen-less flowers are especially wonderful in fresh arrangements.
There are hundreds of beautiful flowers , so it can be hard to choose one that just seems perfect. Although a pollen-free flower may give you less sparkle and razzmatazz, they can be appreciated for their simplicity.
While it is true that most pollen related problems can be traced to the genetic engineering of the flowers before plantation , some pollen can also be easily removed. Lilies of all types can often now be purchased that are either simply pollen-free flowers, or else someone (who doesn't have allergies), can carefully remove the brown pollen-bearing anthers on the tip of each of the six stamens in each flower.
Pollen-less flowers usually have bright yellow petals and a dark brown center. For example, 'Indian Blanket' is a branching variety with pollen-less double and semi-
double flowers in shades of red, cream and yellow.
Someone might argue almost all flowers are going to have pollen since they need to reproduce, that is true, but finding beautiful free of pollen flowers is not very difficult either.
Also, beautiful these flowers last long in a vase and are cleaner. So, they are also good for decorating your home.
So, make hay in the sunshine while ensuring no one gets hay fever!
